Tropical Depression Priscilla – CAT response services
Tropical Depression Priscilla made landfall east of Manzanillo, Mexico, at 4 p.m. CDT Sunday, October 20. It is expected to dissipate over 24-to-36 hours while tracking inland over southwestern Mexico. Widespread rainfall is projected to total 3-to-6 inches (76-152 mm), with a maximum of 10 inches (254 mm) on parts of Nayarit, Jalisco, Colima and Michoacan through Tuesday night — threatening flash floods and mudslides. The area's steep terrain heightens the risk of fast-moving, potentially life-threatening debris flows.
